Varis Vadly Sanduan, S.Sos., M.Si obtained a bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Hasanuddin University Makassar (2014); then he gained a master's degree in Anthropology at Hasanuddin University Makassar (2018). He used to teach at Hasanuddin University, Makassar and at the same time he was a socio-cultural researcher at the Anthropology Laboratory. Now he is a member of the professional organization of anthropologists, namely the Indonesian Anthropological Association (AAI) and serves as secretary of the Maluku Regional Administration (MRA).
