Welcome to the Industrial Engineering

The Industrial Engineering study program at the International University of Papua (UIP) is an engineering education that combines engineering or engineering concepts (engineering) with an integrated mastery of applied multidisciplinary science and economics to produce creative and innovative applications that can be used in society. The uniqueness in scientific development is that students will be equipped with research and development, design and analysis skills for various industrial flow systems that can be utilized at the simple level to large industries.

The Industrial Engineering study program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices involved in optimizing complex systems within various industrial settings. The program focuses on equipping students with a strong foundation in engineering, mathematics, and management, along with specialized knowledge in areas such as operations research, supply chain management, production planning, quality control, and industrial automation. Through a combination of theoretical coursework, practical projects, and industry internships, the program fosters the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills necessary for designing efficient processes, improving productivity, enhancing quality, and reducing costs in industrial operations.
